The city of San Miguel de Allende,
Mexico is known for its vibrant color and the doors of the city are
but one example. Behind every entrance is a surprise barely hinted
at from the exterior. These beautiful blue doors open into La
Colemena Bakery at Relox 19 and 21. Known for its traditional baked
goods, the shop also attracts attention via the contrasting colors of
its doors and the city walls. Anyone who has experienced San Miguel
will be able to revisit the sounds and smells via this watercolor
sketch.
